Build Your Support Team

Eating disorders have an impact on all areas of your life, and are a family crisis. Siblings, intimate life, work, friendships and your own self are all affected. What is the best and most effective way to retake control over this situation? You should not do it alone!  In fact it is the time to select who will be close to you and who will not.

Remember that whoever surrounds you affects you!

There are three circles that define the people in your life: inner, middle and outer. The inner circle are the people closest to you, the middle circle are usually friends and people in the outer circle are acquaintances.

It is not only what you let in your life, but who. For example, after hanging out with someone, do you feel full of energy or do you feel worn out and depleted? Do you feel inspired, happy, and accepted or are you stressed out?

Now, more than ever, it is important to have a healthy support system and relationship with people around you. You need to understand who you can trust and can be a part of your support team and how to communicate, collaborate and coordinate with that team.

By working with me you can expect to:

  • Learn how to recognize the impact of who is around you on you
  • Get clarity on who are the right people to be around you
  • Understand what you need to do in order to get where you would like to be
